I’ve been blogging about freebies for a long time. Like… a really long time. And after all these years of signing up for samples, testing programs, and sample clubs, there’s one that still gets me excited every single time.
It’s called SampleSource.
And honestly? It’s still my favorite.
If you’ve never heard of it before, SampleSource is one of those rare freebie programs that actually sends out real, useful stuff. Not tiny foil packets that disappear in five seconds. I’m talking full-size products, brand-name samples, and sometimes even brand new items that haven’t really hit stores yet.
A few times a year they release their seasonal sample boxes, and when you get selected it’s like opening a surprise gift full of products to try.
I’ve been getting the green SampleSource box for years now, and it’s always one of the highlights of my freebie hunting. Every box is different, but it usually includes a mix of things like beauty products, snacks, drinks, household items, pet goodies, and sometimes even totally new products that brands are testing out.
Basically… it’s the kind of box where you actually end up using everything.
And right now is a great time to sign up because new samples are coming soon for Spring 2026.
SampleSource has been teasing some upcoming offers, and they’ve hinted that there are some pretty amazing products lined up this season. They work with a bunch of well-known brands, and the categories usually cover everything from beauty and food to pet products and new launches.

Here’s the important part though.
SampleSource works on an invite system.
That means once you’re a member, you might receive an email invitation letting you claim items from their seasonal sample box or one of their surprise sample drops. But the invites don’t last forever. When the email hits your inbox, you usually want to log in pretty quickly because the samples are first come, first served.
Even though they release hundreds of thousands of samples each season, they can disappear fast.
